Kenyans on social media posted prayers for the country under the hashtag #OnMyKnees4MyNation in their knees’ to pray for their country a show of patriotism.
Issues plaguing the country that called for prayers included terrorist attacks.
They also prayed for integrity, good leadership and prosperity. Peter_aminga twittered: “You bomb us, you can kill us, you can destroy us, but our spirit remains steadfast, we are not Bwogable. God is for us.” C. Ngina wrote: “The battle does not belong to us God, fight for us dear Lord and scatter them who rise against us.” WillisRaburu prayed: “Many are they who rise up against me. But you, Oh Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.” Xtiandela: “Oh God, We pray for our borders.”
