Family Appeals for Help: Kenyan Hospitalized in Bahrain for 3 months after a Hit-and-Run Accident

David NjorogeOn a normal Thursday, June 26th in Bahrain, David Njoroge was going about his usual business when tragedy struck. He found himself in a terrible car accident (hit and run). He was rushed to Salmaniya Medical Complex Hospital where he was evaluated and admitted to ICU upon arrival. Something went wrong and David’s breathing dropped, causing shortness of oxygen supply to his brain. He shortly drifted into a comma and was on life support in ICU for over 2 months.

He suffered severe chest injuries including broken ribs, arm and leg. He was later moved to general ward but remains in a semi-conscious state. The hospital has discharged him and needs him moved ASAP to a facility equipped with neuro and physical therapy where he extensively needs.

There is urgent need to airlift David back to Kenya, which requires 1st-class, 6 seat occupancy (for stretcher) in the company of 2 specialized nurses. Additional costs include a deposit to the receiving hospital in Kenya.

David’s road to recovery is a long one, hence this is an exceedingly expensive process, but we are encouraged his life is hidden in God’s hands.

This is the time Njoroge needs us most.

His family is appealing to well-wishers to help with the cost associated with his trip back to Kenya and additional medical expenses in Kenya. Funds can be deposited into the bank account below:
