A Kenyan woman who lived in Powder Springs, Georgia, USA has passed away after a short illness.
Carolyne Mukuhi Kihara, 31, died on Monday morning at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.
According to family sources, Ms Kihara collapsed in her bathroom before paramedics were called in to try and save her life. “She was rushed to Kennestone Hospital where the medical personnel tried to resuscitate her without success,” said Mr Charles Kinyua, a cousin to the deceased. A source at the hospital told Ksnmedia that Ms Kihara passed away early Monday morning at 3,30 AM.
On Tuesday evening, family and friends were making arrangements for prayer meetings at the home of Mr Dennis Kinyua Kihara, a brother to the deceased.
“The family is devastated by the news of her passing as no one saw it coming,” said Mr Kinyua.
Ms Kihara had recently graduated with a BSc degree in Nursing from Georgia Tech University in Atlanta, GA.

We regret to announce the death of Carolyne Mukuhi Kihara which occured on January 19, 2015 at Kennestone Hospital after a short illness. She was the daughter of Ruth Kihara and the late James Kihara Kinyua. She was a sister to Sylvia Njeri Kihara, Dennis Kinyua Kihara, and Michelle Wangui Kihara.
Family and friends are meeting daily 7pm-9pm at 1812 Hannah Place, Powder Springs Ga 30127, for funeral arrangements. The Burial date will be announced later.
