A Kenyan Pastor in Baltimore, MD, Rev. Canon Dr. John Karanja will be launching a book titled “BEND WITHOUT BREAKING” on Saturday April 8th, 2017.

The launch will be held at St. Andrews I.C.CA.E.Church 6515 Loch Raven Blvd, Baltimore, MD 21239 where Rev Canon Karanja is the Senior Pastor

His first book’s is titled “Understanding the Family Dynamics of Immigrant” and it has been in the market for the last three years.

He is married to Ann John who has been his companion in the ministry for almost five decades. Other accolades include being a community leader, an entrepreneur, a public speaker, a philanthropist, an evangelist at heart, a preacher who does not compromise the word of God. 

The book addresses the challenges of migrating to a new country. This can be a daunting experience to any immigrant. Every immigrant, at some point, despite the country of origin or the country they migrate to, will encounter and experience the significant and potentially negative impact of acculturation stressors. Some of the common stressors could present itself in form of ;
