The company says it has been working to strengthen its core network operations starting with the company’s Network Operations Centre (NOC).
NOC is an automated centre that mans the network and sends alerts and network status reports to enable the company to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
The company says in line with this, it has equipped the NOC monitor the whole network 24 hours all week, all year. This new monitoring schedule gives the company full time visibility of its network with the assigned teams being empowered to respond to any emergent disruptions in service on our core network in the shortest time possible.
AccessKenya says the NOC team will therefore monitor, advise and communicate the network status at any given time to ensure any network disturbance is picked up instantly. This new arrangement not only guarantees optimal service but also puts AccessKenya on the global scale as having fully standardized network operations and monitoring.
The NOC team is mandated with monitoring, coordinating and communicating network infrastructure status of all the Group’s networks. Core AccessKenya networks include Fibre cable network, Wireless Network – Canopy and Wimax, the Traffic Cameras and the backhauls.
